Wave81

The Proof Wave 73 and 81 have been developed by the Canarian wizards Orjan Jensen and Dario Ojeda in the rough conditions on the island’s most demanding spots.

Here is how the two describe their favourite boards:

Both boards feature a bottom shape concept hardly seen in wave boards before: a deep single concave converts into a double concave that runs all the way through the tail. The Vee kicks in only behind the front foot straps and in combination with thinned out rails and the rounded pintail it provides tremendous manoeuvrability and yet amazing control – even in nuclear Pozo conditions.

The boards are ultra fast, jump to a plane instantly and feel super light under your feet. No matter what the conditions, side-shore or on-shore, the Wave 73 and the Wave 81 feel perfectly at home. It’s not a radical board but it will bring out the radical in you!
