The Proof WAVE 81 is shaped by Carlos Sosa. It is
developed by Orjan Jensen in the rough conditions on the Canary Island’s
most demanding spots as well as on his stops of the PWA-tour.
Bjorn Dunkerbeck fine tuned it on his "THE
SEARCH" trips around the blue planet.
The WAVE 81 features a bottom shape concept hardly seen in
wave boards before; a deep single concave converts into a
double concave that runs all the way through the tail. The
Vee kicks in only behind the front foot straps and in
combination with thinned out rails and the rounded pintail
it provides: tremendous maneuverability and yet amazing
control – in nuclear Pozo conditions early planning and fast
acceleration - in challenging light wind onshore Sylt
conditions fast and loose on the wave - in side shore - down
the line Hawaii conditions
The board is ultra fast, jump to a plane instantly and
feels super light under your feet. No matter what the
conditions, gusty or light winds, side-shore or
on-shore, the WAVE 81 is 100% at home. It’s not a radical
board but it will bring out the radical in you!
